How can I charge more money?
When was the last time you raised your prices? I’ve talked to many people who feel uncomfortable charging more money so I wanted to help coach you to see a different way of viewing your business.
Understand the value you provide:
When I first started coaching, I was focused on time. In order to earn more, I would have to simply do more hours of work. However, we all have a limit we reach due to exhaustion or resources.
Let’s say you charge $100 dollars for your time and you’re able to work 8 hours a day. Your earning potential for the day is a maximum of $800, but you want to make $1,000 a day.
Why would someone pay you more than you the $100?
Well, you really want to see what your service is providing. How much of an impact are you making in the lives of others? Are they making more than they invested?
If a person hires me for coaching and spends $12,000, but ends up making $40,000 more, wouldn’t that be a discount?
The question to ask yourself now is, how much are they making working with me? If they aren’t making more than they are investing, you might ask yourself, “What do I need to learn or add to help them make more than they invested in me?
You might take another course, change your focus, or even the clients you attract so you can ensure they get more than they invest.
Write down a couple ways where it’ll make more sense for the client to invest in you and your services at a higher rate.
